806 KAR 30:030. Representations of licensee limited

Section 1. No licensee shall represent, either orally or in writing, directly or indirectly, by any means whatsoever, including but not limited to the use of any office sign (except its duly issued license) or the use and circulation of any letterheads, billheads, blank forms, notes, receipts, certificates, circulars, or any written or printed or partly written or printed matter whatever, that it is licensed by or subject to the supervision of the Executive Director of Insurance, except by use of the following phrase: "Licensed, pursuant to Chapter 304 of the Kentucky Revised Statutes, only for the purpose of engaging in the business of a premium finance agency." Provided, however, the use or use and circulation of any written or printed matter containing the foregoing phrase may only be in connection with the licensee's business as a premium finance agency. NECESSITY, FUNCTION, AND CONFORMITY: KRS 304.30-070 authorizes the executive director to make reasonable administrative regulations to effectuate Subtitle 30 of the Kentucky Insurance Code. This administrative regulation limits the representations of a licensee.
