806 KAR 2:040. Records of certificates of authority; licenses

Section 1. "Suitable" records of insurer certificates of authority and licenses issued under the Insurance Code shall include those maintained by copy, electronic computer data storage or microfilm. (I-2.04; 1 Ky.R. 854; eff. 5-14-75; TAm eff. 8-9-2007.)

NECESSITY, FUNCTION, AND CONFORMITY: KRS 304.2-110 provides that the Executive Director of Insurance may make reasonable rules and administrative regulations necessary for or as an aid to the effectuation of any provision of the Kentucky Insurance Code. This administrative regulation extends the meaning of "suitable" for administrative purposes.
