806 KAR 14:060. Group certificate filing

Section 1. Group certificates issued for delivery to residents of this state, under any group policy issued and delivered on or after August 6, 1970 to an association outside this state, under which group policy substantially all of the premiums are payable by the insured individual members, shall be filed with and approved by the executive director. STATUTORY AUTHORITY: KRS 304.2-110
NECESSITY, FUNCTION, AND CONFORMITY: KRS 304.2-110 provides that the Executive Director of Insurance may make reasonable rules and administrative regulations necessary for or as an aid to the effectuation of any provision of the Kentucky Insurance Code. This administrative regulation requires filing of group certificates issued for delivery to residents of Kentucky under a group policy dividend or issued outside this state.
