804 KAR 7:050. Display of license number

Section 1. Each retail alcoholic beverage licensee shall have painted on the front of the licensed premises a sign containing the name of the licensee together with the inscription of the licensee's alcoholic beverage license number in uniform letters not less than three (3) inches in height. NECESSITY, FUNCTION, AND CONFORMITY: The purpose of this administrative regulation is to require that each licensee of this office display, by printed sign, the licensee's name and license number. This enables any officer of the law, while making an arrest or citation on the licensed premises, to immediately identify the proper and correct licensee and license.
