603 KAR 7:040. Public Transportation Capital Assistance Program

  •       Section 1. In order to facilitate the administration of the Public Transportation Capital Assistance Program as authorized by the General Assembly and KRS 96A, the following is adopted by reference: The Public Transportation Capital Improvement Program issued May, 1982 and last revised May, 1985, by the Transportation Cabinet.

     

          Section 2. All documents incorporated by reference herein are on file for public inspection in the Division of Mass Transportation, 11th Floor, State Office Building, Frankfort, Kentucky 40622. (11 Ky.R. 348; eff. 9-11-84; Am. 12 Ky.R. 40; eff. 8-13-85.)

      STATUTORY AUTHORITY: KRS 174.080

      NECESSITY, FUNCTION, AND CONFORMITY: The Public Transportation Capital Improvement Program is authorized and governed by the budget bill adopted by the Kentucky General Assembly. The Transportation Cabinet is authorized by KRS 96A.095 to accept funds from the Commonwealth and any of its agencies and from federal agencies appropriations and grants to accomplish the promotion and development of mass transit services in Kentucky. The function of this administrative regulation is to implement the procedures required to administer the Nonurbanized Public Transportation Program in accordance with applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
