603 KAR 5:090. Truck spacing on bridges

Latest version.

Section 1. The minimum spacing for trucks, either moving or stopped, shall be thirty (30) feet on all bridges on state highways.

Section 2. This administrative regulation shall prohibit truck traffic which is in violation of Section 1 of this administrative regulation. (HIWA-TS; 1 Ky.R. 817; eff. 5-14-75.)

STATUTORY AUTHORITY: KRS 174.080

NECESSITY, FUNCTION, AND CONFORMITY: KRS 189.221 and KRS 189.231 authorizes the Department of Highways to establish administrative regulations to insure the safe usage of bridges on state maintained roads.
