STATUTORY AUTHORITY: KRS 224.10-100, 224.46-510

NECESSITY, FUNCTION, AND CONFORMITY: KRS 224.46-510(1) requires the Environmental and Public Protection Cabinet to promulgate administrative regulations to establish requirements relating to generators of hazardous waste. This administrative regulation exempts farmers from certain requirements if disposing of pesticides that are considered hazardous waste.
