302 KAR 77:030. Height and weight of baskets of tobacco

Section 1. The definitions used in the administrative regulations of this chapter are those set out in KRS 248.010.

Section 2. A basket of tobacco when placed on a warehouse floor for the purpose of sale shall not exceed six (6) feet in height and shall not contain more than 800 pounds of tobacco. (27 Ky.R. 2271; Am. 2728; eff. 4-9-2001.)

NECESSITY, FUNCTION AND CONFORMITY: KRS 248.391 authorizes the Department of Agriculture to promulgate rules and administrative regulations relating to establishing the height and weight requirements of a basket of tobacco when placed on a warehouse floor for sale.
