301 KAR 1:192. Closing Lake Chumley

Section 1. Lake Chumley and the department-owned property surrounding the lake, in Boyle and Lincoln counties, shall be closed to public access daily from one-half (1/2) hour after sunset until one-half (1/2) hour before sunrise. (24 Ky.R. 1424; Am. 1669; eff. 2-17-98.)

NECESSITY, FUNCTION, AND CONFORMITY: KRS 150.025(1) authorizes the department to promulgate administrative regulations that apply to a limited area or to the entire state. KRS 150.620 authorizes the department to promulgate administrative regulations for the lands and waters it has acquired. This administrative regulation is necessary to control vandalism at Lake Chumley and establishes closing times for Lake Chumley.
