108 KAR 1:040. Payment of awards, proof of payment required

Section 1. Within thirty (30) days after an order of the Board of Claims making an award has become final, the agency making payment of such award shall furnish to the Board of Claims a copy of any check reflecting such payment. (18 Ky.R. 3065; eff. 6-7-92.)

STATUTORY AUTHORITY: KRS Chapter 13A, 44.080
NECESSITY, FUNCTION, AND CONFORMITY: KRS 44.080 requires the Board of Claims to establish rules for its government and for the regulation of the method of pleading and practice before it. The purpose of this administrative regulation is to require proof of payment of an award so that the board can monitor compliance with its orders and properly close completed cases.
